Buffalo Collective has a rich history of investing in the Buffalo Community. Over the last 6 years owners Colleen Pandy & Jillian Cannan, have been working to keep their small business small and local. When COVID hit, the company had to shift focus. As a social experience based business, the struggle during the shutdown lingered. In early spring Loaded Lumber decided to host a Summer Market series, featuring local artisans, food trucks and vendors to showcase their items every Saturday at the flagship downtown location. It has been a SMASHING success! Located within walking distance of Canalside, Key Bank Center, and across the street from the Casino, Loaded Lumber's market has proven each week that the people of Buffalo are ready to embrace a special shopping event downtown. Buffalo loves their festivals, and this experience has once again proven that. 

 

Collen and Jill are both Veteran spouses, and Colleen lived in Europe during the holiday season where she was captivated by their Christmas Markets. Always wishing Buffalo could one day have a similar experience, she and Jill decided it was time! Bringing our experience as business owners, and a successful market, the interest in our Holiday Market is exploding overnight.

 

The Buffalo Holiday Market by Buffalo Collective will be featuring vendors from across the area showcasing their artisan products, visits from Santa and his reindeer, special musical guests and of course mulled wine, beer and hot cocoa. Last year the Buffalo Holiday Market teamed up with P.U.N.T.  Pediatric Cancer Collaborative to join in their mission of standing behind WNY families fighting pediatric cancer raising $6,000. It is our Hope that this Holiday Season we can help fund their Home for the Holidays Program. Your donation to P.U.N.T. Pediatric Cancer Collaborative this season can help bring programming to the market that will continue to raise funds for this incredible, locally based charity. The Home for the Holidays Fund aims to help families facing pediatric cancer, by covering home expenses and giving parents in the fight for their child's life the incredible gift of peace of mind this holiday season. We invite you to join hands and hearts with us this holiday season to lift families facing one the worst plights imaginable during the “most wonderful time of the year.”
